Culinary art is teamwork.

This is how the brothers Hager Matthias and Hager Hermann (owner) invented their very specific pleasure paradise, the Weinbeisserei. As lovingly as Matthias dedicates himself to viticulture and its culture, Hermann acts as an soulful cook and connoisseur.

 

The Lisl Wagner Bacher student has extensive years of teaching and traveling behind him and previously cooked for several seasons between Puerto Rico and Krems. His “roots” in the vineyard kept his curiosity about local and international wines alive, and he always cooked according to the wine. On his journeys around the world he not only gained culinary experiences, but also fine wines.

 

Hermann Hager sums up the interplay between plate and cellar in the Weinbeisserei. We prefer to source our products from regional farmers and organic farming.

Farm-gate sales of our wines, raw sausages, air-dried ham, liver pâté and lard are possible by telephone arrangement.
